The FX series, Class of ’09, introduces viewers to a unique narrative structure, unfolding across three distinct points in time, the third time frame being in 2034. From the past to the future, this limited thriller explores the immense changes that shape the lives of the FBI agents from the class of ’09.
It follows Ashley Poet (Kate Mara), a determined agent whose career reaches a crisis point after facing her most challenging undercover operation. When Agent Poet’s undercover operation brings further complications, things take a turn for the worse as she’s plunged into an investigation involving a domestic terrorist cell.

Class of ’09, the limited series thriller, premiered on Disney Plus on 21 June 2023 with two episodes debuting on the service. Featuring only two-time frames in the first five minutes of the series made everything that took place in the first two episodes easier to process.
