Although the last episode of season two was a massive tearjerker, we were left with a glimmer of hope when Claire finds out that Jamie survives the Battle of Culloden. She immediately resolves to go back and find him, but with 200-odd years between them it’s going to be a difficult road to a reunion, and it’s one we’re eagerly looking forward to travelling with our favourite couple. Season 3 will air Mondays from September 11 at 7.30pm on showcase.
