The beloved kids show Dora the Explorer aired on television for nearly two decades, from 2011 to 2019. Two years after it ended, it was confirmed that a reboot was in the works.

After more years of development, it finally arrives on streaming with Nickelodeon Animation Studio one of the production companies helming the new series.

Just like the original show and the movies that came afterwards, follows the adorable travels of the titular adventurer and her monkey friend Boots.

More than adventures, both the character and the show are also known for providing lots of learning on the side and enduring wisdom about kindness, teamwork, and curiosity.

Original Dora the Explorer creators Chris Gillford and Valerie Walsh Valdes return to develop the reboot.

The title role is voiced by  Diana Zermeño, while Boots is voiced by Asher Spence. The original voice of Dora the Explorer, Kathleen Herles, also returns as Mami, Dora’s mother, in the 2024 reboot.
