The new movie hit Australian cinemas on 1 February 2024. After that, distributors Universal Pictures and Apple Original Films released the movie on digital platforms, becoming available on pay per view like Prime Video Store, Google Play, and other similar services.

What is the plot of Argylle?
Elly Conway is a spy novelist who enjoys spending much of her time at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. While reclusive, she’s actually a successful author, who we can imagine truly hates attending events because that would mean she has to say things. Her ultimate work is a series of best-selling espionage novels revolving around a secret agent named ‘Argylle’.
Her life is upended big time when the plots of her books start happening for real, which then introduces her to an actual spy organisation. From quiet nights at home with her thoughts and her adorable cat, she instantly finds herself being chased nonstop by killers.
To make it worse, she has no idea why. Luckily, she has Aidan (Sam Rockwell), an undercover spy protecting her and her cat at all costs. But is he real?
As she evades a whopping quantity of bullets and parachutes from an exploding train, the line between her fictional world and her real one understandably becomes out of whack.
