These days, getting connected at home is about more than just getting a phone line installed. The NBN has now rolled out to almost all Australians, bringing with it faster speeds and more possibilities. And that means your broadband connection now also plays a key part in delivering your entertainment as well, which makes it the perfect product to bundle with connected services – video games, streaming video and even premium satellite TV.
Why Bundle with Telstra?
With customers taking to bundles more and more, you’ll find several broadband providers putting together packages which bring together internet and entertainment. But Telstra’s better positioned than most to put together some really enticing bundles, thanks to its many years of experience with broadband entertainment, and its close links with Foxtel. As the biggest NBN broadband provider in Australia, Telstra is better equipped than most others to deliver bundle deals that are aimed not just at selling you a package of services, but also making sure you save money in the process.
The broadband bundles you can get from Telstra also come with valuable extras that make it a true all-inclusive internet solution – home phone line with unlimited calls, advanced wi-fi modem with 4G backup and Broadband Protect to keep your family safe online. And of course, you get access to the many rewards available through the Telstra Plus rewards program.
Telstra is also able to offer bundles that reflect the very different entertainment wants and needs of customers – whether you’re focused on streaming video, are keen to get into gaming or want to get set up with satellite TV with Foxtel, they’ve put together a bundle that’ll get you up and running without hassles.
How to Bundle with Telstra
To make your choice of the entertainment bundle that suits you best, you first need to decide what your ideal form of entertainment will be. Are you the sort of person who’s already on board with streaming services like Netflix, Stan, BINGE and Disney+ and would like a fast, rock-solid reliable internet connection with a device to stream everything on? The Telstra TV bundle is going to be for you. If you’re more into getting a few rounds of Call of Duty in before you jump into the latest streaming shows, then the Xbox All Access bundle lets you do both. And if you’re after the highest-quality premium TV you can get – delivered by satellite in up to 4K resolution – then one of the Foxtel bundles will get you set up and ready to watch live TV, or on demand via the Foxtel iQ4’s integrated streaming smarts (including, of course, Netflix!)
All of Telstra’s entertainment bundles come with a Telstra Smart Modem with 4G backup, and the usual $99 connection fee is waived.

Telstra Streaming TV Alternatives
If you’re looking for a more mobile solution for streaming TV – perhaps you’re happy with your home internet, but you want the ability to watch your favourite sports on the go – then it’s worth checking out Telstra Mobile. With Australia’s largest mobile network – now upgrading to 5G for even smoother streaming – Telstra Mobile plans also come with a whole bunch of streaming add-ons bundled in at no extra cost.
On the sporting side of things, you get year-round unlimited access to the official apps for the AFLW, Netball and A-League, all of which you can use completely data-free on the Telstra network. Subscribing to these services usually would run into the hundreds of dollars, so for sports fans, it’s a great deal.
From the 2021 season onwards, though, the NRL and AFL official apps are no longer able to stream lives matches – they’re now limited to replays, live player stats and scores, with Live Pass being retired from both apps. But the good news is that Telstra customers can add Kayo to their account with $10/month off for 12 months, which makes subscription at only $15 each month. That’s over 50 national and international sporting events to feast your eyes on!
