Every season of The Bay is now streaming in Australia.

One of ITV’s most watched programs, The Bay follows the family liaison officers in Lancashire’s seaside town of Morecambe. They may not be the main investigators working to solve the town’s complex criminal cases, but their work is just as crucial.

Returning for a fourth season, find out how to watch new episodes here.

The Bay Season 4 originally aired last year in the UK, then went on to premiere in Australia last 22 May 2024 on BBC First, which used to be available on Foxtel.

With BBC First leaving Foxtel last 31 July 2024, The Bay is no longer on Foxtel as of this writing. If you haven’t seen the latest season, no worries — The Bay Season 4, as well as The Bay Season 3, are set to arrive on BritBox on 22 November 2024.

This hit crime drama from ITV centres on the work of police officers in Morecambe, Lancashire. Despite its reputation as a sunny resort, the town often shocks residents with gruesome crimes.

At the heart of shocking crimes are family members and other individuals entangled in their mysteries. Taking on every mysterious case are the police officers working and residing in the area, particularly the family liaison officers, who are tasked to provide support.

In order for the investigation to progress, the officers must collect sensitive information from the families of those involved, all while practicing much needed caution and empathy to never cross any lines. Doing both is tough and more often than not, they have to sacrifice one thing for the other.

But in a seemingly vibrant town where crimes and mysteries insidiously grow, the officers find their boundaries between work and private life almost non-existent.

Created by Daragh Carville and Richard Clark, The Bay show explores not only engrossing crime cases, but also the toll it’s taking on the personal lives of family liaison officers led by DS Lisa Armstrong (Morven Christie) in the first two seasons and DS Jenn Townsend (Marsha Thomason) from Season 3 onwards.
