What is White Fever (TV series) about?

The new local comedy is created and stars Ra Chapman, best known for her performances in Wentworth and Face to Face. It follows Korean-Australian adoptee Jane, who has a penchant for white, hairy men.

When her friends call her out for it, it bothers her tremendously that she goes to extra lengths to change her “type”. In the process, she rekindles a connection with a childhood friend and discovers more about herself and her place in the world.

In addition to Chapman, White Fever also features a dynamic roster of local talents, including Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), Greg Stone (Jack Irish), Roz Hammond (Bay of Fires), Harvey Zielinski (Love Me), Katie Robertson (Five Bedrooms), Jillian Nguyen (One Night), and Cassandra Sorrell (North Shore)

Chapman co-wrote the series with Michele Lee, Clare Atkins and Harvey Zielinski. Episodes are directed by Aidee Walker, while Katherine Fry and Lisa Wang produced the show.

Serving as executive producers Dan Lake, Kurt Royan, Ra Chapman and Rosie Lourde, alongside ABC executive producers Todd Abbott and Louise Smith.
