The documentary film about the iconic American rock band that rose to fame in the 1960s is just one of the streamer’s new releases in May 2024. 

Last month, Disney+ also screened Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story. The streaming service is home to more music docos featuring some of today’s biggest artists like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

Disney+ also released Peter Jackson’s docuseries The Beatles: Get Back, as well as the restored version of the Let It Be movie.

Featuring unseen footage and interviews with the remaining band members, Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston, The Beach Boys documentary takes you on a nostalgic trip during a time when summers are most fun, and best of all, endless. 

The documentary film was directed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny, written by Mark Monroe, and produced by Kennedy/Marshall and White Horse Pictures.

Here’s the official trailer for the upcoming music documentary about The Beach Boys coming to Disney+ Australia from May 24. 

The film will include interviews with band members, including Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston. Former members Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar will appear as well. We’ll also see the late Carl and Dennis Wilson through archival interviews.
