Telstra is helping customers to get connected while they stay home by offering additional services for free. Postpaid mobile and mobile broadband users can register for an extra 25GB data, while broadband subscribers signed to a plan with data limits are given a free unlimited data upgrade.
Getting connected is crucial now more than ever. That’s why Telstra is working hard to keep its customers equipped with enough data while they stay at home. From receiving bonus mobile data without paying a cent to getting unlimited internet, also free, Australians can stay home to stay safe with more ease. Telstra also aims to reduce your worries by giving you more time to settle your bills. That’s why the company is not charging late payment charges or giving service suspensions for overdue bills between 19 March and 30 April 2020.
Additional mobile data
Get connected on your mobile with bigger data to back you up. During this period, personal and small business customers currently signed to Telstra’s postpaid mobile or mobile broadband plans can register for 25GB of extra data at no extra charge. Simply register via Telstra 24×7 and My Telstra apps until 19 April 2020. Once registered, the data will be available within 48 hours. Telstra’s additional data to use in Australia within 30 days.
Free unlimited internet upgrade
Internet customers, on the other hand, can get their service upgraded at no extra charge. If you’re a Telstra home broadband (ADSL, NBN, cable) subscriber who is on a monthly data allowance, you’ll get unlimited data for streaming and surfing without data limits — free. There’s no need to register for the unlimited upgrade as the data will be applied automatically. This makes working from home and streaming entertainment so much easier.
Unlimited calls on your home phone
Telstra’s free services aren’t limited to additional data. The telco also provides free unlimited calls upgrade to pensioners signed to home phone plans. With this, they’ll be able to make unlimited local, national, and mobile calls from their home phone. Calls to 13/1300 numbers are also included. There’s no need to activate, unlimited calls are automatically applied and valid until 30 April 2020. The home phone offer is available to customers with an eligible pensioner concession card only.
