A recent study showed that 11 percent of US Netflix users are using an account that’s paid for by someone else, with numbers jumping over 22 percent in the 18-24 age group.

However, not all numbers are bad – the research also shows that almost 60 percent of US households have access to streaming video services.
While these numbers are only representative for US subscribers, the situation shouldn’t be that much different in Australia, especially since we have notoriously become known as some of the most active content-pirates in the world.
