Where is IF movie streaming after?

With Paramount Pictures distributing the movie, we can speculate that IF will be streaming in Australia via Paramount+ after being released in the theatres and digital platforms (Apple TV, Google Play, etc).

Foxtel’s deal with ViacomCBS also means that the new film is likely to stream on Foxtel (including Foxtel Now) and BINGE, presumably a month after it will debut on Paramout+.

It will follow in the footsteps of earlier Paramount Pictures movies like Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, now available on Paramount+, BINGE and Foxtel.

What is the IF movie about?

IF follows a young girl named Bea (Cailey Fleming), who, for some reason, can see other people’s imaginary friends. It turns out she’s not the only one – her neighbour Cal (Ryan Reynolds) also possesses the same ability and has been interacting with them for a long time.

These IFs she can see, however, have long been forgotten, which is usually the case when kids grow up. To save them from disappearing completely, who also do all sort of outrageous things when desperate, Bea and Cal embark on a magical adventure to reunite the forgotten IFs with their children.

IF was originally titled “Imaginary Friends”, a project developed by Reynolds and Krasinski. After Paramount Pictures won the rights to the film, Krasinski was announced to write and direct. The Office alum and A Quiet Place director also produced the film with Reynolds, Allyson Seeger, and Andrew Form.
