Foundation Season 2 preview

Foundation, a monumental adaptation of Isaac Asimov's award-winning novels, tells the staggering tales of humans inhabiting various planets throughout the galaxy ruled by the Galactic Empire.

The future of the Empire, however, is threatened after mathematician Dr Hari Seldon develops the game-changing psychohistory, which can predict the future of large populations. Using this mathematics of sociology, Seldon foresees the Empire's impending doom.

Now in Season 2, the plot thickens as a vindictive queen hatches a destructive plan from within. Hari, Gaal, and Salvor also stumble upon a colony of Mentalics with psionic abilities, posing a threat to the very fabric of psychohistory. The new season will also continue to explore the main characters' shifting loyalties and complicated relationships, all the while attempting to overcome deadly crises and ultimately save humanity.
