World Super Six Perth Live Online Streaming and Golf Free to Air TV

Perth World Super 6

It’s Golf T20 style. It’s fast, exciting, thrilling and unique. It’s the World Super 6 Perth and it’s here in 2019 where a crack field of golfers will assemble to Perth in pursuit of the trophy and prizemoney. Thomas Pieters, one half of the Belgium duo which recently won the World Cup of Gold, headlines the tournament for 2019, and you won’t miss a minute of the action when watching on a standard or HD TV, or streaming live online to a mobile device with a Free trial.

World Super 6 Perth 2019 Preview

The ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth will be played at Lake Karrinyup Country Club from 14-17 February and will form part of the 2019 European Tour Race to Dubai, ISPS HANDA PGA Championship Tour of Australasia Order of Merit and Asian Tour Order of Merit. It’ll be your standard golf tournament in the first three rounds, with 18 hole stroke play. After two rounds, the field will be cut to 65 and then after the third round, it will be further reduced to 24. This is where it gets interesting. The fourth round will consist of six holes, six match play tournaments until it is last man standing. The top eight players from the third round gain automatic entry into the second round of the match play. If a result isn’t decided in six holes, we will then see a 90m hole-purpose built by the golf club. If there is still no result, then the players will go back to the tee and then it’s nearest to the pin.

When: Thursday 14 Feb – Sunday 17 Feb
Where: Lake Karrinyup Country Club, Perth

The event will be headlined by Thomas Pieters, who was one half of the Belgium team which successfully took out the World Cup Of Golf late last year. 2018 was a brilliant year for Pieters in terms of ranking, starting 226 in the world rankings before getting as high as 78th. He finished third in the Super 6 last year and seemed to really enjoy the Lake Karrinyup layout. That form saw him go well throughout the European Tour last year, highlighted of course by the World Cup of Golf triumph. The course here suits those players who like taking a risk and Pieters is certainly that, as is Andrew Johnston, a regular visitor to Australia who has played recent tournaments down under, including the Australian PGA Championship and Victorian Open, with the Dubai Desert Classic in between. In terms of the locals, Lucas Herbert has been a real find in recent years. He used to play low level AFL, but switched the Sherrin for the irons and it seems to have been a success with a couple of tournament wins and did finish third in the Super 6 last year so he plays Lake Karrinyup well. Perth is expecting a record-crowd for one of the most unique tournaments held on the continent, but don‘t look for Perth Super 6 golf free to air in Australia.
