Paid content usually guarantees better viewing experience. Seemingly endless options backed by excellent features always seal the deal. When weighing your options to decide what service to sign up for, it all comes down to these factors: price and content. But with IMDb TV, you don’t need to worry about any of that.
Earlier this year, IMDb launched IMDb TV, a streaming service that allows you to watch free content through its website. Amazingly, the streaming platform delivers an impressive library of titles and you won’t need to pay a cent to watch them. Even better, IMDb recently announced its venture into mobile streaming, bringing IMDb TV to its mobile app.
What Content is Available on IMDb TV?
At launch, IMDb TV had a promising debut with a solid lineup of TV shows, such as Without a Trace, Heroes, Fringe, and The Bachelor, as well as feature films like Foxcatcher, Memento, Monster, and The Last Samurai, to name a few.
It then expanded its lineup through new partnerships with MGM Studios, Warner Bros., and Sony Pictures Entertainment. These deals with some of the big names in cinema has brought acclaimed films like Captain Fantastic, La La Land, and Silver Linings Playbook on board.
Other titles you can watch on IMDb TV for free include Jerry Maguire, Practical Magic, A Knight’s Tale, Paddington, and many others. Continuing in its aim to bring in more content, IMDb’s latest arrangements with Paramount and Lionsgate secured the addition of Silver Linings Playbook, Age of Adaline, In the Heart of the Sea, as well as the sitcom The Middle.

IMDb TV Mobile App
The integration of the IMDb TV platform into mobile streaming only means better things. As the updated iOS and Android IMDb app starts its rollout, Aussies can now start watching a wide assortment of movies and TV shows even when out and about. Stuck somewhere with nothing to do? Just head to the IMDb app on your phone and you’ll find plenty of entertainment choices — all for free.
How to Access IMDb’s Mobile App?
You can stream free content from IMDb’s growing library of movies and TV programs by downloading the IMDb app from Google Play or the App Store. Download of the app is also free. It is, however, important to note that you’ll need a mobile VPN to access IMDb’s licensed films in Australia. The good news is that there are many great options to choose from so it’s hardly an obstacle. Some are even offered for free!
