The ever quirky attorney is back for Elsbeth Season 2.

Elsbeth is a spin-off of the popular CBS shows The Good Wife and The Good Fight with Carrie Preston reprising her role as Elsbeth Tascioni. Thanks to her standout character in The Good Wife, Preston lands her own series with Elsbeth doing exceptional albeit unorthodox detective work alongside the NYPD.

Season 2 premieres with a new episode in Australia on 18 October. After that, remaining Elsbeth episodes will roll out on streaming TV weekly.

Fans will also be pleased to know that Season 2 of the Elsbeth TV show will air for 20 episodes, a significant increase to Season 1’s only 10 episodes.

This new season of the procedural series from CBS, Elsbeth TV show, will be streaming on Paramount+ from 18 October with new episodes arriving weekly.

After a successful career in Chicago, quirky attorney Elsbeth Tascioni moves to New York where, once again, her “singular point of view” and “unique observations” are utilised to help the NYPD solve crimes.

Despite her unconventional ways, the shrewd lawyer proves to be an effective investigator, assisting the authorities in apprehending even the most brilliant criminals. As a result of her invaluable skills and instincts, or being right most of the time to put it simply, Elsbeth becomes NYPD’s de facto detective. 

Creators Robert and Michelle King, who also created The Good Wife and The Good Fight, employ the inverted detective story structure instead of the typically used “whodunit” to explore the crime mystery in each episode.
