When Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavors, the former mob boss is put in an inevitable collision course with the city’s long-time defender, blind lawyer Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Check out the Daredevil: Born Again trailer right here:

Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again is set a couple of years after the events of Daredevil Season 3 when Matt/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) once again exposed Fisk’s crimes to the world with the help of Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy (Elden Henson).

In the continuation of the Daredevil series titled “Born Again”, Matt finds himself confronting former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) again when their past identities begin to unravel.

Despite his crimes being exposed at the end of the third season through Special Agent Rahul “Ray” Nadeem’s confession video, it would seem that Fisk is once again charming his way to earn a spot at the public office, running as a mayor of New York City. Knowing their tense and bloody history, Matt will need to turn to his vigilante version to make sure this doesn’t happen.

In addition to Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Woll, and Henson reprising their roles, the new series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe also features the return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter.

New cast members include Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Zabryna Guevara as Sheila Rivera, Nikki James as Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, Clark Johnson as Cherry, and Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade.

Born Again, Daredevil’s continuation series, is created by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman, and Chris Ord with Scardapane serving as the showrunner.

The three are also credited as executive producers alongside Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead. The title “Born Again” is in reference to a comic book storyline created by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli.
