How to watch Australia Women's cricket team live and free in 2025

Women’s cricket is forever growing in popularity in Australia. From talented players that have experience in international cricket, to new players heading onto the pitch for the first time, the Australia women’s cricket team has it all.

The national team has shown they are one of the best in the world over the last few years, and they do not seem to be showing signs of slowing down.

Use this guide to see the options for watching them live on TV, or streaming their available matches to a mobile device.

The Australian Women’s team will be involved in many exciting contests in the coming months, starting in October with the West Indies Women’s tour of Australia taking place from 1st through the 15th. This particular series will be comprised of three T20’s, and three ODI’s.

The Australia Women’s team shares their live broadcast rights across Fox Cricket, and free-to-air channel’s Seven and Nine. The Nine Network will continue to show select matches of the Women’s Cricket World Cup, as well as being the exclusive rights-holder for the hugely popular Women’s Ashes series with England.

Alternatively, the games on Network Seven are generally carried locally on channel 7. Among the key contests on Seven include all Women’s international matches and domestic Tests, as well as 23 WBBL matches. The new digital rights mean that each will be available to stream for free on their 7Plus platform.

The remaining international and domestic Women’s matches are mostly exclusive to Fox Cricket, and include ODI’s, T20’s, Tests, World Cups and 23 WWBL matches. Each is available to watch live on Foxtel, Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports. The biggest games are shown ad-break free during play, and available in 4K Ultra HD if you have the proper TV.

Last December 2023, Amazon Prime announced its exclusive rights to broadcast all International Cricket Council (ICC) tournaments in Australia from 2024 to 2027. This includes coverage of the Men’s and Women’s Cricket World Cups, T20 World Cups, Champions Trophy, Under 19s, and the World Test Championship Final. Consequently, viewers will need to subscribe to a pay-per-view model on Amazon Prime to watch the national teams’ World Cup defenses during this period.
