Lawmen: Bass Reeves is a true-blue Western show created by Chad Feehan. It’s all about the legendary lawman, Bass Reeves, the first black deputy marshal in the wild, wild West.
Reeves was the real deal, known far and wide as the greatest frontier hero in American history. He served as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals you could imagine, all without so much as a scratch on him.

Lauren E. Banks (City on a Hill) portrays Jennie Reeves, Bass’ steadfast wife, while Barry Pepper (Saving Private Ryan) commands the screen as Esau Pierce, and Shea Whigham (Perry Mason) as George Reeves.
