Where to watch A Quiet Place 2 in Australia?
After being released in the theatres in 2021, it became available for on demand streaming via BINGE, Foxtel, Foxtel Now, and Paramount+.
A Quiet Place 2, however, is not on any subscription streaming services in Australia as of this writing. To watch the film, you can rent or buy on Apple TV, Google Play, and other similar services.

You can instead watch the first film, A Quiet Place, still available on demand on Foxtel and Foxtel Now (via Movies Action), as well as Paramount+, Stan and Netflix. It also becomes available on BINGE from March 16, 2024.
A Quiet Place 2 streaming Australia release date
The film had its world premiere in 2020 before getting its theatrical US release date on 28 May 2021 where it became a blockbuster hit.
For streaming online, A Quiet Place Part II was initially available to stream on Paramount+, then later on BINGE and Foxtel from 11 February 2022.
The movie has since been removed from these platforms, unfortunately. If A Quiet Place 2 becomes available again for on demand streaming, this guide will be updated.

What is the plot of A Quiet Place Part II?
A Quiet Place Part II gives viewers a quick glimpse of what life was like before the harrowing alien invasion that wiped out most of the planet’s population. The Abbott family – wife Evelyn, husband Lee, deaf daughter Regan, and sons Marcus and Beau, witness the very moment when an asteroid-like object entered Earth’s atmosphere with hostile extra-terrestrial creatures attacking and slaughtering people.
Over a year later, after the deaths of Lee and Beau, the surviving members of the Abbott family, including Evelyn and Lee’s newborn baby, seek for other survivors. In the first film where deadly events took place, their home was destroyed after an attack that ended up killing Lee as he sacrificed himself to protect his family. Regan’s discovery that high-frequency audio feedback weakens the creatures also gives the young girl a newfound mission in the hopes of defeating the aliens.
Wandering the outside world with nowhere to go to, the family comes across Emmett, an old friend of Lee, who takes them to his soundproof underground hideout. Together, they struggle with loss and grief, as well as survival with the family discovering that the ferocious aliens aren’t the only threats lurking beyond the sand path. With unexpected enemies waiting to crush any semblance of hope, Evelyn must protect her family at all costs.
A Quiet Place Part II was written, produced, and directed by John Krasinski for Paramount Pictures with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe reprising their roles as Evelyn, Regan, and Marcus, respectively. Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy also joined the main cast playing Lee’s old friend, Emmett.

A Quiet Place: Day One
A Quiet Place: Day One, a spin-off to A Quiet Place, has been confirmed to premiere on 28 June 2024 in the US. An Australian release date has yet to be announced.
It will serve as an origin story, depicting how the aliens that ravaged the planet in the original films came to Earth and wiped out humanity. It stars Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), and Alex Wolff (Hereditary). Djimon Hounsou, who starred in A Quiet Place Part II, also reprises his role.
