Dead Hot centres on Elliot (Bilal Hasna) and Jess (Vivian Oparah)—best friends bonded by grief. Five years earlier, Elliot’s boyfriend (and Jess’s twin brother), Peter, disappeared and all that was found was his severed finger. While everyone thinks he died, Elliott and Jess remain a little hopeful that Peter is still alive somewhere.

Traumatised by the circumstances of Peter’s disappearance, Elliott swears he’d never love again—that is until he meets a mysterious new guy named Will. But there’s something about Will and his arrival to Elliott’s life that feels amiss. Jess, meanwhile, is being contacted by “Peter”. What follows is an unpredictable journey with shocking twists in every turn.

The series is created by Charlotte Coben, who also served as executive producer with Nicola Shindler. Coben wrote all six episodes while Sam Arbor and David Sant directed.

Dead Hot stars Bilal Hasna as Elliott, Vivian Oparah as Jess, Penelope Wilton as Francine, and Peter Serafinowicz as Danny. Starring in recurring roles are Olisa Odele as Peter, Marcus Hodson as Will, and Rosie Cavaliero as Bonnie.
