When DI Joseph Chandler is assigned what looks like a simple case of domestic violence, he ends up finding an alternative theory from an expert on Jack the Ripper.

The operation goes horribly wrong when a frustrated Chandler pins his hopes on trapping their latest suspect.

The Ripper must kill one more victim to complete his re-enactment of the 1888 murders. DI Chandler is near to breakdown as he struggles to find an answer. Forensics and CCTV are useless, and the team are forced to rely on their instincts, hoping that the past will provide some clue to the killer's identity. However, time is ticking away, and history tells us that Jack the Ripper was never caught.
