Fifteen years after her son's murder, Anna Dean arrives at Edinburgh High Court for the start of a major court case. Six months prior, Craig Myers was attacked, as he discovers he has been accused online of being a notorious child murderer.

Craig prepares for court, while threats against his family escalate and Rebecca's doubts about her husband grow.

Anna takes the stand, but must find a way to control her emotions; Craig hits rock bottom; Anna's obsession threatens to tear her family apart.

Anna discovers her fate in court, when the jury finally return their verdict; as part of the judicial process, Anna and Craig are brought face to face once more.
