What is The Scholar Who Walks the Night about?

Set in an alternate Joseon dynasty, Jo Yang-sun (Lee Yu Bi) is the daughter of a nobleman whose family loses everything when her father is framed for treason. To make ends meet, Yang-sun begins cross-dressing as a male bookseller, and meets the handsome and mysterious scholar Kim Sung-yeol (Lee Joon Ki), who works at the Hongmungwan. Sung-yeol is a vampire, and he continues to be haunted by the long-ago death of his first love Lee Myung-hee, especially when he meets Myung-hee's present-day doppelgänger Choi Hye-ryung (Kim So Eun), an aloof nobleman's daughter. Meanwhile, the evil vampire Gwi (Lee Soo Hyuk) resides in the royal palace and uses his powers and political machinations to prevent the Crown Prince Lee Yoon (Shim Chang-Min) from ascending the throne.

Netflix Australia offers a range of subscription options to suit a wide swath of users, with each plan offered on a monthly basis. First up, the Basic monthly subscription. For $9.99 per month, this option allows the user to stream content in standard definition to one screen at a time. The next pricing tier, Standard, which comes in at $13.99 per month gives subscribers access to high-definition streaming across two screens — which means there’s less fighting over the account! You can download onto two offline devices. The top tier, Premium, delivers 4K streaming to up to four devices at the same time for $17.99 per month. Known as ultra-high-definition, this option requires you to have a 4k-capable TV in your home. The caveat, of course, is that this option chews data like nobody’s business. But if you have fast broadband, this shouldn’t be a problem.
