British Airways: 100 Years in the Sky

Part one of a two-part documentary charting the history of the airline from the first flight in 1919 to the present day. It begins with the early years of passenger air travel, and looks at the first companies and passengers who braved open cockpits, wicker chairs and no on-board toilets.

Part 2 we are charting the airline from its birth in 1974 to the end of Concorde, and its more turbulent recent years, including problems with Heathrow's state-of-the-art baggage system at Terminal 5.
