The Veil follows veteran MI6 agent Imogen Salter (Moss) in her latest undercover work, which takes her to Istanbul. Arriving at a refugee camp somewhere on the Turkish and Syrian border, she seeks out Adilah (Yumna Marwan), who she brings to Paris with her.

The chaotic relationship between two women is then explored throughout their journey, with one harbouring a secret and the other tasked to uncover it before thousands of lives are lost.

As intentions get clearer and the stakes higher, the question remains – who’s telling the truth and who’s feeding everyone lies?

While these two women continue to play a deadly game of truth and lies, the CIA and the French DGSE must temporarily stop their bickering and join forces to thwart a potential large-scale disaster.

The Veil (2024) is created by Steven Knight, who executive produced the series alongside Denise Di Novi and Nina Tassler. Lead star Elisabeth Moss is also an executive producer via her Love & Squalor production company alongside Lindsey McManus.
