Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire plot

Following the events of 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, the world further unravels more of its terrifying secrets with the emergence of a colossal threat previously unknown to us.

Rebecca Hall’s Dr. Ilene Andrews also returns to further delve into the mysteries of  Skull Island and examine the Titans’ origins, only to unleash a formidable nemesis.

While the mighty Kong is as ruthless as ever, his ferocious strength may not be enough to face a bigger enemy, who’s set on bringing upon a new empire and annihilating everything on its path.

With the world’s survival on the verge of doom, Kong must call on an unlikely ally – the King of Monsters Godzilla himself.

Godzilla x Kong is directed by Adam Wingard, who also directed the previous film, from a screenplay written by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater.
