What is the plot of Civil War?
In the 2024 movie Civil War, the United States is no longer united when California and Texas installed their own secessionist government. The consequences are beyond grave, spawning another civil war.
In the middle of the devastating turmoil are journalists risking their lives – Lee, Joel, and the young aspiring photographer Jessie. The trio journeys a country plagued by everyday violence to reach Washington D.C. and secure an interview with the President.
The journey, however, is a race against time with the extremist militias also on their way to the White House and do the unspeakable. Will the country restore its peace or disintegrate further?
Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Men) wrote and directed the Civil War movie, while Andrew Macdonald, Allon Reich, and Gregory Goodman served as producers.
