Anderson Silva’s remarkable wrestling career is the result of a young boy’s inner strength that eventually molds him into an MMA champion. But his story goes a long way, back in Curitiba, Brazil where fighting was necessary to survive.

As a kid, he learned to channel his rage and struggles by training to fight, setting the stage for his entry into the world of professional wrestling, which entailed both wins and losses. Despite having thoughts of quitting, Silva kept fighting until becoming a prominent MMA figure who defended his belt for seven years.

He’s now considered as one of the best mixed martial artists of all time.

Anderson Spider Silva is created by Marton Olympio and directed by Caito Ortiz. Paramount Television International Studios produced the biographical drama in collaboration with Pródigo Filmes.
