Netflix’s 2022 reboot of the classic Australian comedy drama Heartbreak High premiered successfully, securing another season that’s set to debut this April.

The groundbreaking  series follows a group of Australian teenagers and the internal conflicts, heartbreaks, and hard truths they need to discover as they begin to shape their lives.

After over a year, season 2 of the homegrown series will premiere on 11 April 2024. Just like the first season, Heartbreak High Season 2, all episodes will drop on streaming at once.

The number of episodes for season 2 has yet to be announced, although it’s worth noting that the first instalment consisted of eight.

After the packed season 1 finale where we saw Harper and Amerie reconcile and the latter finally found out the truth about her best friend’s ordeal with Chook, we can expect the new season to bring more of their vindictive side.

Burning Chook’s car apparently isn’t enough payback for what he did to Harper. With him evading arrest, it’s likely that Amerie and crew will do some vengeance on their own.

Meanwhile, Amerie and Malakai’s developing romance has been put to a screeching halt, but based on their wistful looks alone it seems like there’s more to their story. Another romance we’re excited to see further develop is that of Darren and Ca$h; however, the latter was arrested in the season 1 finale.

From the looks of things, season 2 will bring more answers and unpack new stories. Fortunately, the students of Hartley High are set to return for brand new episodes on April 11!
