How to watch Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 in Australia

Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 will answer every nagging question left unresolved in the Season 2 finale.

More than a year following his devastating snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner returns as “Mayor” Mike McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown Season 3. With Season 2 wrapping up the way that it did last year, leaving the fates of major characters uncertain and other conflicts unresolved, it becomes even more intriguing to finally have answers to those lingering unanswered questions.

Will Mariam and Robert survive? Will Bunny and Mike repair their strained and complicated friendship? What is Milo’s new scheme this time and how will Ben Morrisey’s death impact the new season? So many things to catch up on once Season 3 begins, apparently.

Fortunately, Mayor of Kingstown finally returns in June – here’s how to watch new episodes in Australia.

The third season of the smash-hit series will screen exclusively on Paramount+ from Monday, 3 June, then rolling out weekly afterwards just like the prior season.

Each season of Mayor of Kingstown has had 10 episodes exactly, so it’s safe to speculate season 5 would be the same.

Check out the trailer for Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 right here.

With the thriving incarceration business in the town of Kingstown, the McLusky family, led by Mike (Renner), has been the power brokers between police, criminals, inmates, prison guards and politicians. But due to the shocking events in Mayor of Kingstown Season 2, there’s bound to be increasingly alarming changes in the town’s order and control, especially with fresh players in town led by a new face of the Russian mob.

Bunny (Tobi Bamtefa) and Mike’s conflict will also likely continue in the third season after the former declares he’s out for revenge on the Kingstown police, something he’s already carried out in Season 2 beginning with Robert Sawyer (Hamish Allan-Headley). Of course, Bunny’s attack on the leader of Kingstown’s SWAT forces is a declaration of an all-out war, which we’ll certainly see in the new season.

In the explosive second season finale, we also saw Mariam, Mike and Kyle’s mother, accidentally shot by the latter. Kyle inadvertently shooting his own mother would only aggravate his already disturbed mental and emotional state. As for the matriarch of the McLusky family, we’ve yet to know whether she survives the shooting or not, although it’s worth noting that she wasn’t included as a main cast member for Season 3.

Another interesting turn of events was Milo’s boat accident, which he orchestrated on his own to fake his death. The Russian mobster, played by Game of Thrones’ Aidan Gillen, had agreed to leave Kingstown for good if he could have the bonds worth millions of dollars. He even abducted Iris (Emma Laird) to secure Mike’s cooperation.

But just as we thought he’s really going to go for good after he’s gotten what he wanted, he pulled off something big and we don’t know why, at least not yet. It’s safe to assume it will have something to do with the “new face of the Russian mob setting up shop in the city”.

The crime thriller drama is created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, who also stars as Ian Ferguson.

Featuring a star-studded cast, check out the actors playing members of the McLusky family, as well as new and returning characters starring in the third season:

  • Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky
  • Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky
  • Tobi Bamtefa as Deverin ‘Bunny’ Washington
