The Penrith Panthers, located in the western suburbs of Sydney, are a top-performing team with a talented roster and enthusiastic fanbase.

As the 2025 NRL season approaches, the Panthers are determined to defend their title and secure a fifth consecutive premiership. Despite the departures of key players such as Jarome Luai, James Fisher-Harris, and Sunia Turuva, the team remains strong. Emerging talents like Blaize Talagi and Casey McLean are expected to step into pivotal roles, with Talagi likely to fill the No.6 jersey. The Panthers will kick off their season on March 2 against the Cronulla Sharks at BlueBet Stadium, aiming to continue their dominance and make a statement in the opening match.

To stay updated on the Penrith Panthers, this guide will have information on their next match in the 2025 NRL schedule, TV fixtures, broadcast rights, and streaming options.

Fortunately, there are several options for watching Penrith Panthers games in Australia, including Network Nine, Foxtel, and Kayo Sports.

In this section you will find the next round of Panthers’ 2025 NRL fixtures, with the dates, times and providers that will be carrying these games live.

The 2025 NRL season is set to commence on March 2, 2025, featuring 27 rounds where each of the 17 teams will play 24 matches and receive three byes. The Finals Series is scheduled to begin in early September, culminating in the NRL Grand Final on October 5, 2025, at Accor Stadium in Sydney.

In a broadcasting deal that extends until the end of 2027, the Australian TV rights for the Penrith Panthers and the 2025 NRL season have been secured by Foxtel and the Nine network.

Channel Nine will continue to broadcast up to three live games a week (Thursday night, Friday night, and Sunday afternoon), as well as an additional live Saturday night match during the last five rounds of the regular season. But, all of these matches will also be available on Foxtel/Kayo.

Channel Nine does, however, have exclusive live TV rights to the State of Origin series and the 2025 Grand Final.

As for the Panthers, the Nine Network will carry about thirteen of their matches live across channel Nine and their streaming platform 9Now, which unfortunately is just about half of the total games Penrith will be playing.

For comparison, Foxtel and its broadcast partner Kayo Sports, will be televising every game in every regular season round live, with no ad-breaks during play. That’s a total of 204 matches, as well as every Penrith Panthers home and away game available to watch Live.

The matches will be carried on the 24/7 dedicated Fox League channel, where the programming will be formatted for 4K Ultra HD. In addition to every regular season NRL match available live, Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports currently offer new subscribers a free trial.

Kayo Sports gives you access to the same NRL broadcasts as Fox League (every game of every round LIVE with no ad-breaks during play) so you can stream the Penrith Panthers live or on-demand.

New subscribers can watch Penrith Panthers games on Kayo with a 7-day free trial. Kayo doesn’t have a lock-in contract or equipment fees, which means you can cancel anytime if you’re no longer using it.

With Kayo Sports, you can stream using a wide range of eligible devices. Devices available to Kayo users include select PCs, Macs, iOS and Android phones and tablets and more.

For fans who want to catch up on the action, Kayo Minis provide a 10-20 minute recap after the final whistle has been blown.

Other Kayo features include Interactive Graphics, SplitView, No Spoilers and Key Moments, which provide highlights throughout matches in real-time.

Watch every game from every round of the NRL season + International Tests with a monthly no contract plan.

Fox League can be accessed via Foxtel and Foxtel Now. To watch on Foxtel with a Standard or HD TV, you have several choices, including subscribing to the Foxtel Plus pack to access over 50 channels of sport, entertainment, drama, lifestyle, docos, reality and more.

You also have the choice to watch the Penrith Panthers online using Foxtel Now, which currently comes with a 10-day free trial. This option includes the ability to stream NRL using the Foxtel Go app.

As well every Penrith Panthers regular season match available live, and the option to watch replays at a later time, Foxtel Now has a wide range of NRL programming such as NRL Tonight, NRL 360 and the Late Show with Matty Johns.

Fox League comes as part of the Foxtel Now Sports Pack ($29 per month) which can only be purchased on top of an Essentials Pack ($25 per month) after any free trial have expired.

While Nine’s television coverage is limited to three games a week for the first 22 rounds, Foxtel and Kayo Sports will televise every match in every round live during the lead up to the Grand Final.

The Nine Network, better known as Channel 9, is the official NRL free to air broadcaster and will show a select number of Penrith Panthers matches live during the 2025 Premiership season.

That’s because under the newest NRL broadcasting agreement, Nine could only secure three live games a week during the first 22 rounds, and then up to four live matches in rounds 23-27.

As a consolation of sorts, channel Nine does have exclusive TV rights to the State of Origin series, and the NRL Grand Final.

Nine’s TV coverage is headed by Erin Moran, alongside a commentary team made up of Andrew Johns, Billy Slater and James Bracey. Nine also offers live simulcast streaming using the 9Now app, but these are limited to the games they broadcast and do not offer full match replays.
