What is the plot of Mix Tape (2025)?
Alison (Palmer) and Daniel (Sturgess) are two people living opposite sides of the world. Despite their distance and the fact that they’re no longer in each other’s lives, the former young couple shares a bond that transcends time and distance.
In 1989, back when they were teenagers living in Sheffield, they fell in love. But Alison ran away for reasons undisclosed. Daniel never saw her again—that is until he found her on Facebook. He sends her a link to a song from their shared past; she responds in kind, leading to an intimate conversation conveyed in their exchanges of songs.
As their reconnection deepens, Alison and Daniel can’t help but wonder if their lives are the ones they were meant to have. They begin to question the choices made over the years as their past ultimately interferes with the present.
In addition to Teresa Palmer (The Last Anniversary, A Discovery of Witches) and Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe, Cloud Atlas), Mix Tape also stars a dynamic ensemble of lineup of international and Australian talent, including:

Mix Tape is based on the best-selling novel of the same name, written by Jane Sanderson. It is written for television by Jo Spain and directed by Australian director Lucy Gaffy.
