What is The Idaho Student Murders about?
The documentary examines the horrific deaths of four university students, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, on 13 November 2022. The suspect, criminology student Bryan Kohberger, recently and shockingly changed his plea to guilt on all counts of the four murders in exchange for being spared the death penalty.
The documentary features never-before-seen interviews with friends and family of the victims. It also delves into Kohberger’s possible motive by examining his past, including his difficult relationships with women, and the evidence that tied him to the crimes.
The Idaho Students Murders documentary is produced in connection with the podcast “The Idaho Massacre” from KT Studios and iHeartMedia. Director Catharine Park executive produced the film with Stephanie Lydecker.
