NCIS: Tony & Ziva trailer
Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David are finally returning to the NCIS franchise—this time as lead characters in their own spin-off series. Check out the trailer below.
What is the plot of NCIS: Tony & Ziva?
Tony & Ziva comes more than a decade after Cote de Pablo left the original NCIS series in 2013. Michael Weatherly also left the show in 2016 at the end of season 13. Remaining fan favourites, Tony and Ziva finally get to have their own series together—this time as parents to their daughter, Tali.
But just when they’ve finally started to enjoy the safety of civilian life, Tony’s security company becomes the target of a massive attack. With no idea who’s after them, Tony and Ziva go on the run while they figure out who’s making their lives extremely difficult.
The revelation that Ziva is still alive at the end of season 16 is welcome news to NCIS fans. When de Pablo left the series at the end of season 11, her character was written off by returning to Israel where she was killed offscreen. We later learned that Ziva and Tony had a daughter, Tali. Tony also left NCIS after finding out about his daughter.
The new NCIS spin-off is created by John McNamara, who also serves as executive producer alongside lead stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo. Other executive producers for the show are Mairzee Almas, Laurie Lieser, Shelley Meals, and Christina Straine.
Cast of NCIS: Tony & Ziva
In addition to Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, the cast also includes Isla Gie as Tali DiNozzo, Amita Suman as Claudette Caron, Lara Rossi as Sophie Summers, Maximilian Osinski as Boris, Anne-Marie Waldeck as Fruzsi, Julian Ovenden as Jonah James, D’Arcy as Henry, Nassima Benchicou as Martine, Terence Maynard as Dr. Lang, and Emmanuel Bonami as Pierre Galimard.
