The star of the hit Comedy Central Nathan For You is back with The Rehearsal Season 2. The unique show follows a man who aims to reduce the uncertainties of everyday life. Equipped with limitless resources, he explores numerous possibilities that allow regular people to prepare for life’s biggest moments by “rehearsing” them. Because when a single mistake threatens to shatter your entire world, why leave life to chance? And so the idea for this revolutionary HBO Original was born.
For those who want to experience a different type of comedy, you’ll see more ingenuity and humour with The Rehearsal Season 2 scheduled to premiere in Australia this month.
The Rehearsal Season 2 Australia release date
The release date of The Rehearsal Season 2 has been confirmed for Monday, 21 April 2025, exclusively on Max. The second season will consist of six episodes.
Will The Rehearsal Season 2 also stream on BINGE and Foxtel? All HBO content no longer appears on BINGE, however, by extension, you can stream new episodes of The Rehearsal on Foxtel.

What is The Rehearsal TV series about?
The Rehearsal is set in a world where nothing seems to go your way, which sometimes could mean the current world we live in. As such, Nathan Fielder gives people the opportunity to rehearse moments and events so that things really work out, for a change.
With a construction crew, a group of actors, and seemingly unlimited resources, Fielder allows ordinary people to prepare for their own lives’ biggest moments by practicing them in carefully crafted simulations using his own design.
So what will The Rehearsal Season 2 be about? While Season 1 showed us “rehearsals” to tackle parenthood and awkward social encounters, Season 2 will give us a sense of urgency and danger as Fielder’s latest project will involve airline crashes and the controversies around them.
Fielder stars as himself, as well as serves as the series writer, director, and executive producer. An executive producer of How To With John Wilson, The Rehearsal extends Fielder’s collaboration with HBO. Christie Smith and Dan McManus also executive produced for Rise Management.
