The Real Housewives of Miami preview
The Real Housewives franchise has been captivating audiences for over a decade, and The Real Housewives of Miami is no exception. First premiering in 2011 on Bravo, The Real Housewives of Miami follows the lives of affluent and influential women living in the sunny city of Miami, Florida. The show was revived on streaming service Peacock in December 2021, following the cancellation of the original run after three seasons in 2013.
The Real Housewives of Miami’s first season introduced viewers to six housewives, including Lea Black, Alexia Echevarria, Adriana de Moura, Larsa Pippen, Marysol Patton, and Cristy Rice. After the first season, Pippen and Rice left the show, and four new housewives were added for Season 2: Ana Quincoces, Joanna Krupa, Karent Sierra, and Lisa Hochstein. Echevarria was demoted to a recurring role to care for her son after a car accident. The third season saw the return of Echevarria as a full-time housewife, while Quincoces and Patton were demoted to recurring roles. Sierra appeared as a guest.
Despite its popularity, the show was cancelled after the third season, making it the second Real Housewives franchise to be cancelled after The Real Housewives of D.C. in 2010. But in November 2020, executive producer Andy Cohen announced the revival of The Real Housewives of Miami for a fourth season on Peacock.
The fourth season premiered on Peacock in December 2021, featuring returning housewives Alexia Nepola (formerly Echevarria), Lisa Hochstein, and Larsa Pippen, joined by Julia Lemigova, Guerdy Abraira, and Nicole Martin. Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton returned as friends of the housewives, and Kiki Barth joined the show as a friend.
And now on its fifth season, The Real Housewives of Miami features an unchanged cast from the conclusion of Season 4, including Alexia Nepola, Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Nicole Martin, and Larsa Pippen. While Adriana De Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth make recurring appearances, the season mainly focuses on the glamorous and often tumultuous lives of Miami’s elite women.

How many seasons of The Real Housewives of Miami?
The Real Housewives of Miami has a total of five seasons. The first season premiered in February 2011 and ran for 7 episodes, followed by the second season which aired from September 2012 to January 2013 and consisted of 18 episodes. The third season of the show was broadcast from August 2013 to November 2013 and comprised 16 episodes.
