How to Watch Bohemian Rhapsody Movie in Australia

The Oscar-award-winning biographical musical drama Bohemian Rhapsody is ready to stream in Australia! Watch the artistic and colourful life of Freddie Mercury as he and his band journey to their international music stardom in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie.

Bohemian Rhapsody is headed by director Bryan Singer and Dexter Fletcher, with the screenplay written by Anthony McCarten and produced by Graham King and Queen manager Jim Beach. The film stars Rami Malek as Mercury along with Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Aidan Gillen, Joe Mazzello, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers.

The original Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor are also part of this biographical film and served as consultants during the film production. The film was produced by Regency Enterprises, GK Films and Queen Films, with 20th Century Fox serving as the film’s international distributor.

Bohemian Rhapsody received positive reviews and multiple awards after its premiere. It also grossed over $900 million worldwide! So now is your chance to see, stomp, and rock n’ roll over the legendary songs of Queen and relive their epic performance at the Live Aid concert in 1985.

What’s in this Guide?

Bohemian Rhapsody retells the colourful life of the legendary British rock band Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury. It will show the life of Farrokh Bulsara as he joined the Humpy Bong band in 1970. Whereafter, Farrokh renamed himself Freddie Mercury and the band Queen; from then on, he pushed the band to think bigger.

After stepping into the wild and vast realm of the music world, Freddie created ripples of unwavering stardom with Queen’s music. The film will give us a lens into how Freddie and Queen’s band member created their masterpieces. Like their standard breaker song “Bohemian Rhapsody” as part of their true greatest hits collection.

The film will also give us a glimpse of Freddie Mercury’s glamorous and dark part of his life, as we will witness how he discover his sexuality and his journey of in-depth discovery of himself. The movie also tackles the people that betray his trust, but also those who stay beside him despite his illness.

Despite the discrepancy over the real-life facts in the Queen film, the screenplay writer stated that it was all for the dramatic effect. McCarten said, “We’re making a movie here, not a documentary.”.
