What is the latest Disney Plus deal?

From September 6 until September 20, new and returning customers in New Zealand get a Disney Plus subscription for $14.99 NZD for three months. This translates to up to $30 savings compared to the standard monthly cost for three months. After three months, your Disney Plus plan reverts back to its current monthly price, unless you cancel Disney+. Disney Plus’ new offer is valid only until 11:59 PM on 20 September. Only new and eligible returning subscribers, who are New Zealand residents aged 18 years old and above, can avail.

New releases on Disney Plus NZ

You can count on Disney Plus to always offer money-saving discounts just in time for new premieres, making it the best time to join the streamer. Last August, the highly anticipated premiere of Ahsoka, a new series focusing on the fan-favourite Star Wars character finally dropped on streaming TV. Ahsoka (New episodes weekly)

A live-action reimagining of the 1989 animated classic, Disney’s new film stars Halle Bailey in the lead role, alongside Melissa McCarthy as the sea witch Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Eric, and Javier Bardem as King Triton.

One of the most lavish animated films ever made, Elemental makes its streaming debut less than three months after its cinematic premiere in New Zealand.

Disney Plus offers a yearly promo through Disney Plus Day, combining exciting new deals and releases on launch day. The first ever Disney Plus Day happened on 12 November 2021, coinciding with the streamer’s second anniversary, and returned on 8 September 2022. However, it’s worth noting that this month’s promo running from September 6 through September 20 is not announced as 2023’s Disney Plus Day celebration.
