What is the plot of IT: Welcome to Derry?
Set in 1962, a couple moves to Derry, Maine with their son, around the same time when a local boy goes missing. The family’s arrival, however, marks the beginning of terrible events that will plague the town for many years.
The events in Welcome to Derry will set the stage for the story told in the first movie from Stephen King’s It universe. The new supernatural horror series was developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. Pennywise actor Bill Skarsgård serves as executive producer alongside Fuchs, the Muschietti siblings, Brad Caleb Kane, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee and Dan Lin.

Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as Pennywise the Clown. The main cast also includes Taylour Paige as Charlotte Hanlon, Jovan Adepo as Leroy Hanlon and Chris Chalk as Dick Hallorann. Joining the dynamic cast are James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe and Rudy Mancuso.
