Two guys. One weapon of mass destruction. Drug smuggler Max (Alfie Allen) and drifter JJ (Shazad Latif) form a unique bond following their high-stakes encounter. Getting themselves inadvertently involved in uranium smuggling, their lives are threatened by extremely dangerous forces. Even the CIA and MI6 are in pursuit.

In charge of hunting them is highly skilled scientist and a Non-Official Cover (NOC) officer Cassie Elliott (Samira Wiley), who believe that Max and JJ are tied to violent extremists. Her crushing pursuit steers them all toward a colossal conflict. As it turns out, there’s more beneath the surface and every player’s ulterior motive brings unpredictable clashes and unlikely alliances.

The screenplay for Atomic was written by Gregory Burke, best known for his work in the British drama Six Four and the Scottish crime drama Rebus. Shariff Korver directed and Jamie Hall, Judy Counihan, Thomas Benski, Gregory Burke, Sam Hoyle, and Megan Spanjian served as executive producers.

In addition to Alfie Allen, Shazad Latif, and Samira Wiley, Atomic also stars Brian Gleeson as Mark Ellis, Franklin Virguez as Antonio Alam, Avita Lvova as Oksana Shirokova, Stuart Martin as Robert ‘Rab’ Mackintosh, Vahid Gold as Khaled Awad and Charlie Murphy as Laetitia.
