The new medical series from NBC follows Dr. Oliver Wolf (Zachary Quinto), a brilliant doctor known for his unconventional ways when treating his patients. With his unique perspective on healthcare, he’s driven by his yearning “to change the way the world sees his patients”.

When his peculiar methods lead to his expulsion, a new hospital in the form of Bronx General decides to trust him to lead a team of promising young interns. Together, they tackle the most complex psychological cases.

By working with others, he also gets to confront and challenge his personal and social limitations, allowing him to better save his patients. More than the complexities of psychological cases, he must also learn to navigate hospital politics, deal with expectations, and manage his relationship with his peers.

Brilliant Minds is created by Michael Grassi, inspired by the late Oliver Sacks’ “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat” and “An Anthropologist on Mars”. Apart from being the main lead, Quinto also produced the series with Carl Ogawa, Mohan Mandali, and Michael Wray.
