HBO’s new comedy series The Chair Company has been confirmed to premiere in October. Co-created by Tim Robinson (Saturday Night Live), who also headlines the main cast, it follows a man investigating a conspiracy theory after an embarrassing workplace incident.
In addition to SNL, Robinson is also known for his work in other comedies, including Detroiters and I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson.

What is the plot of The Chair Company?
In HBO’s new comedy, Tim Robinson plays Ronald Trosper. Following an incident at his workplace that left him completely flustered, Ronald decides to do some digging to unearth a conspiracy he thinks is so elaborate and massive it will change the world. Sort of.
Co-creating this show with Robinson is SNL writer and producer Zach Kanin. Both are also executive producing the series alongside Andrew DeYoung, Todd Schulman, Igor Srubshchik, and Adam McKay. McKay also wrote, directed, and produced the Netflix movie Don’t Look Up.
