Married at First Sight Australia 2022

Australia’s most talked about social experiment is back for what promises to be their most provocative and explosive season to date. Married at First Sight returns to Australian television for its ninth season, with 22 brave singles looking for love in tow. Once again, it all begins with the couples meeting for the first time as they walk down the aisle on their wedding day — placing their blossoming relationships under the microscope the moment they say “I do”. Find out how to watch new episodes of Married at First Sight Australia Season 9 using this guide.

What’s in this Guide?

In Married at First Sight Season 9, expect to see relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling, and sexologist Alessandra Rampolla inject science into this social experiment involving eight grooms and eight brides from all across Australia. Another three brides and three grooms were then matched together halfway through the experiment. Who will be the ones to find true love and create a great love story?

The first two couples introduced in the first episode were executive assistant Selin and pro wrestler Anthony, and operations manager Tamara and hospitality manager Brent, who lived the high life in Dubai before returning to Australia. In the second episode, two more couples were wed, make-up artist Domenica and financial planner Jack, and beautician Ella and also financial planner Mitch.

Cinema manager Holly and motivational speaker Andrew, and hairdresser Selina and personal trainer Cody followed in the third episode. In the fifth episode, viewers met teaching student Olivia and plumber Jackson, as well as fashion brand manager Samantha and carpenter Al.

More couples were introduced in the subsequent episodes and, by episode 14, the cast of Married at First Sight saw the addition of two couples Kate and Matt and Carolina and Dion. The final couple, Jessica and Daniel, met and wed in Richmond, New South Wales in episode 15.

With the show’s premise, there’s certainly plenty of drama and some couples not getting along can be a bit awkward for the contestants and even for the audiences. For instance, there’s been heavy tension between Carolina and Dion, which became first evident during a dinner party. Eventually, Dion attended the commitment ceremony alone and opted out of the show.

Jessica and Daniel had a big fight on their wedding night, which obviously doesn’t signify brighter things ahead. Andrew, on the other hand, is one of the most controversial grooms this season, sharing in his introduction that he’s been divorced twice and shares a daughter with an ex wife. He also declared Holly to be bad in bed, which likely contributed to the fact that they broke up before the final decision. Curious as to how things will turn out for these couples? The latest Married at First Sight Season 9 is available on free to air.
