★★★★★4/5
We Bare Bears: The Movie is an engaging extension of the beloved animated series, directed by Daniel Chong. The film retains the charm and wit that fans adore, while introducing a more extensive narrative arc. Following Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear as they flee to Canada, the film cleverly intertwines humour with poignant moments, reflecting on themes of identity and belonging. The animation is vibrant and appealing, capturing the essence of the characters beautifully. The voice performances are strong, with each bear's personality shining through. While it may not break new ground in storytelling, it delivers a heartwarming experience that resonates with audiences of all ages.

★★★★★3/5
We Bare Bears: The Movie is a fun watch but feels a bit like a long episode of the series rather than a fully fleshed-out film. The plot is simple and revolves around the bears running away to escape their problems, which might not hold the attention of non-fans as well as it does for the dedicated audience. The humour is still there, and the animation is delightful, but the stakes never feel high enough to make the adventure truly thrilling. It’s a light-hearted flick that will entertain kids, but for adults, it might lack the depth and innovation expected from a feature film. Overall, it’s enjoyable but could have offered more.
