In the heart of the narrative, we find a seventeen-year-old Jamie (Kiernan Shipka), caught in the crosshairs of the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer.” This masked maniac has terrorised the town, leaving shockingly gruesome murders in its wake. But Jamie’s story isn’t just about being the next potential victim.
No, she’s got a plan, and it involves a hefty dose of time travel. After a devastating Halloween night when her mother Pam (Julie Bowen) becomes the fourth victim of this chilling killer, Jamie finds herself hurtled back to 1987, a time of unfamiliar and outrageous culture.
The film unveils a series of face-to-face encounters with the past, including the quirky characters like Marisa Song Salvo (Stephi Chin-Salvo), Anna Diaz (Heather Hernandez), and teen Lauren (Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson).
