Kayo Sports plans and prices in 2026: Standard v Premium, offers and our review

Kayo suits AFL, NRL, cricket, Formula 1 and Supercars fans. Standard is $29.99 a month for one HD stream, and Premium, which rose from $40 in February, is $45.99 for two streams with 4K on selected content. Kayo does not have the Premier League, the Australian Open or the men's Champions League, and pay-per-view fights cost extra. Our verdict is that it is worth it for those sports and a poor fit for the rest.

Both prices apply from 5 February 2026, and you can sign up on Kayo's website. Existing subscribers moved to them on their first bill on or after that date. Premium rose from $40, and Standard slipped from $30 by a cent. The 4K quality needs a compatible 4K device and 25Mbps, and live channels stream up to full HD. Over a year Standard costs $359.88 and Premium $551.88, so Premium's second stream and 4K cost $16 a month extra.

What you get

• Sport: more than 50 sports. Cricket Australia's home internationals, every BBL and WBBL match, F1, Supercars, MotoGP, golf, the NBA, NFL, NHL and NBL through ESPN, and every AFL and NRL home-and-away game, with finals before the Grand Final live and the Grand Final delayed, according to Kayo's help centre.
• Features: SplitView (up to four streams on compatible devices), Key Moments, No Spoilers, From Start and Kayo Minis replays of under 30 minutes. There are no downloads, according to Finder.
• Devices: Apple TV, selected Android, Samsung (2017 or later), LG (2018 or later) and Hisense TVs, Chromecast, Google TV Streamer, Fire TV Stick, Roku TVs, PlayStation 4 and 5, selected Xbox consoles, Hubbl, phones, tablets and web browsers.
• Ads: streams carry the ad breaks broadcasters supply, and some replays include ads. Kayo says AFL, NRL, Australia's home cricket internationals, the BBL and the WBBL are ad-break free during play.
• Free to watch: a limited selection with one stream, some live games and no live channels, which Kayo still also calls Kayo Freebies.
• Where: not available for use in Very Remote regions of Australia, according to Kayo's sign-up page.
• Pay-per-view: UFC, boxing, BKFC and AEW pay-per-views come through Main Event. They are not part of a plan, and you can buy one without a subscription. In November UFC 334 is $59.95 and Gallen v Asofa-Solomona is $69.95, and each has a CompareTV guide: UFC 334 and Gallen v Asofa-Solomona.

What has changed

Kayo is now Kayo SPORTS, a DAZN company, after DAZN bought Foxtel Group in 2025. In 2027 the Fox Sports channels become Kayo channels, with Fox Footy, Fox Cricket and Fox League turning into Kayo Footy, Kayo Cricket and Kayo League. Kayo says every NRL game will stay live, with nine matches a round once the Perth Bears join, and AFL Origin between WA and SA is on in February. Fox Sports' netball coverage ended with the Constellation Cup, and Kayo has renewed MotoGP.

Free trial and offers

Kayo does not give every new customer a free trial. Its own sign-up page, in an Internet Archive copy of 21 October, offered new customers Premium for $1 for the first 7 days, then $45.99 a month, with no lock-in contract, and said the offer is limited to that visit and may not show later. Finder's page, updated 21 October, also says Kayo no longer offers a traditional free trial to all new customers, so check the offer, its length and what Kayo bills afterwards before you pay. Kayo's help centre says other offers arrive by email, SMS or app notification when you are eligible and that its support team cannot match other offers. McDonald's announced on 16 September that MyMacca's members could redeem 7,000 points for a month of Premium, so check the app for whether it is still on. You can also pay for Kayo through Pay with Telstra if you sign up through Telstra's offers hub. Kayo's terms say you must not let anyone outside your household use your account.

• Every AFL and NRL home-and-away game, which Foxtel Group says only Kayo and Foxtel show.
• The cricket summer: Australia's home internationals, the India Tests and every BBL and WBBL match.
• F1, Supercars, MotoGP and golf in one app.
• No lock-in, and pay-per-view needs no subscription.

Cons

• $29.99 buys one HD stream, and two streams plus 4K needs $45.99.
• No Premier League, men's Champions League, Australian Open or Tour de France.
• Ads in some streams and replays.
• Fox Sports' netball coverage ended on 28 October.

Who Kayo suits

AFL, NRL, cricket and motorsport fans, and solo viewers on Standard or couples who each want a stream on Premium. If your sport is tennis or Champions League football, look at Stan Sport instead. Cricket fans can watch the New Zealand Tests, 30 BBL matches and the finals, and 20 WBBL matches and the finals free on Seven and 7plus, but need Kayo for the rest.
