Super Happy Magic Forest is a delightful escapade that showcases the power of friendship and adventure. The film revolves around five heroes, each with their unique quirks, who embark on a series of whimsical quests. The animation is vibrant, bringing the enchanting forest to life in a way that captivates the audience from the start. The character development is commendable, as we see the protagonists grow closer through their shared experiences. The film strikes a balance between humour and heart, making it appealing to both children and adults. While the plot may not break new ground, its charm lies in its execution and the joy it brings. Director Jamie Lee has crafted a film that is visually stunning and emotionally resonant. Super Happy Magic Forest is a must-watch for families looking for an uplifting cinematic experience.

★★★★★3/5
While Super Happy Magic Forest aims to be a fun, family-friendly adventure, it sometimes feels like it's trying a bit too hard to capture the whimsical essence of childhood. The story, revolving around five heroes and their love for quests, has its moments of charm, but it often falls into predictable patterns. The characters, though colourful and engaging, lack the depth that could have made their journeys more impactful. The animation is delightful, and there are certainly laughs to be had, but as an adult viewer, I found myself wishing for a bit more substance. The film excels in creating a cheerful atmosphere, but it may not hold the attention of older audiences for long. In the end, it’s a pleasant watch for the little ones, but it may leave adults wanting something more substantial.
