Pallet Party Panic

After battling in the Pokémon League Tournament, Ash and his friends return to Pallet Town for a hero's welcome. Team Rocket, as usual, ruins the party with another bumbling attempt to steal Pikachu. Professor Oak makes a request for Ash, Brock and Misty to go on another journey to bring back a mysterious looking Pokéball for him. On their way, Ash is in for another surprise when his Pidgeotto evolves into a Pidgeot just in time to save the day!

A Scare in the Air

Ash, Brock, and Misty prepare for their long journey to Valencia Island to bring back a mysterious Poké Ball for Professor Oak. And things only get worse from there!

He learns that Pokémon battles are run a little differently on the Orange Islands, but he can always rely on his Squirtle to pull them through!

The Crystal Onix

While riding around the Orange Islands on his Lapras, Ash finds a mysterious message in a bottle, which leads the gang on a new adventure. Ash, Misty and Tracey travel to Sunburst Island, which is famous for its artists and glassblowers. They meet a struggling young shopkeeper who's seeking inspiration from a legendary crystal Onix. Having been unable to find this special Pokémon, the shopkeeper turns to our heroes. With Tracey and his observational Pokémon on board, they set out to fire up a new friend's creative drive!

In the Pink

Ash and friends are caught in a whirlpool and swept to an unexplored island where all the Pokémon are pink. Our heroes cross paths with an enraged Nidoking, and end up cornered under a cliff.

Later, Golduck turns out to be a wild Pokémon as Misty's Psyduck makes an appearance.

When the new trainer uses a super-powerful Poliwrath on Charizard, it’s more than anyone expects. After Charizard gets frozen in a battle, Ash tries to defrost him. Charizard, still distrusting of Ash, doesn't want his help, but Ash keeps trying. Charizard finally decides to obey and respect Ash as not only his trainer but also his friend, and the two become closer than ever! Ash is able to give a stunning defeat to the Poliwrath that froze Charizard earlier.

In the end, Brock rejoins the group and they head off to Johto.
