Friends is an American television sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons. With an ensemble cast starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, the show revolves around six friends in their 20s and 30s who live in Manhattan, New York City. The series was produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The original executive producers were Kevin S. Bright, Kauffman, and Crane.

Six friends in Manhattan navigate career and love, sharing each other’s ups and downs at their go-to coffeehouse, Central Perk. There’s Rachel Green, runaway bride who’s staying with high school pal Monica Geller while she figures out how to make it on her own. Monica is a talented chef who really likes things clean. Her brother, Ross, is a paleontologist who likes to correct everyone’s grammar. Chandler Bing is Ross’ college roommate, who now lives across the hall from Monica and Rachel with his roommate Joey Tribbiani. Joey loves sandwiches and stars in the soap opera Days of Our Lives.
