COPES: Comandos de élite is an intriguing watch, albeit not without its flaws. The premise is fascinating - who wouldn’t want to see what it takes to become part of an elite police force? However, while the film captures intense moments, it sometimes feels like it skims over deeper character development. The training scenes are gripping, but I found myself wanting more personal backstories from the candidates. The direction is solid, though the film occasionally feels like it drags in parts. Still, for those interested in real-life challenges and the grit of police work, there’s enough here to warrant a watch. Just don’t expect a perfectly polished narrative.
